World Coronavirus Update As Nigeria Confirms Second Case

44,848 Currently Infected Patients, 38,869 in Mild Condition and 5,979 in severe condition.

Earlier today, the Nigeria Minster Of Health announced the second case of Coronavirus in the country.

The newly confirmed case is said to be one of those who had contact in Ogun State with the Italian man that came with the disease into Nigeria.

He emphasized that the new case isn’t a newly imported one but is from one of the 40 quarantined people in Ogun State.

The Minister also released documents confirming the case and giving more updates on the Nation’s success in curtailing the virus.

At the time of this report, a total of 111,401 Corona virus cases have been confirmed in the world, 62,671 people have recovered while 3,882 have been killed by the virus. There are 44,848 currently active cases of the virus world wide.

Other newly discovered cases include 44 in China, 165 in South Korea, 595 in Iran, 111 in Germany, 305 in Spain, 13 in USA, 42 in Switzerland, 18 in Malaysia, 39 Belgium, 14 in UAE, 10 in Philippines, 13 in Indonesia.

Many other countries which are not listed have also recorded new cases. These countries, however, recorded less than 10 new cases each. The total number of new cases is 1,451.
